Our Philosophy

Think. Reason. Question. Experiment. These are just a few of the skills and qualities that children will develop at Noah’s Ark Child Development Center. Since our founding, we’ve focused on supporting kids during all transitions throughout childhood.

All activities are designed to adequately nurture the emotional and intellectual growth of our kids. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, young children are free to develop into bright young minds. Reach out to learn more, and enroll with us today!

Diversity

WE ARE ALL IN(clusive)!

While diversity may include different faiths, orientation, gender roles, socioeconomic status, and ethnicity it is not limited to just these areas.  We believe that diversity also includes the different physical, cognitive, and social abilities that one possesses.  We strive to create a developmentally appropriate classroom environment that not only reflects each child’s unique abilities, but also encompasses their home culture and experiences as well. One of the most important things that we can do to teach our children about diversity is by role modeling that all people are treated with kindness and respect.

We use an app called Procare Connect to connect with and communicate daily with parents. Parents will be invited via email and cell phone number. You will get a code sent to your phone and or email.

Faith Makes All Things Possible

 Welcome!

Welcome to Noah's Ark Child Development Center to our prospective Parents, Guardians and Caregivers, I would like to thank you for entrusting us with the care of your child(ren). We strive to make sure our students will grow into well rounded individuals that are strong spiritually, creatively, emotionally, socially and intellectually with our core faiths and beliefs that will serve them through adulthood.

My name is Jessica Brant and I have worked in Early Childhood Education since 2012. For the majority of my time I have been the Lead Teacher of the School Age classroom. I attended Defiance College and Lourdes University to study Psychology and Sociology to learn how and why children interact in the world the way they do. I have multiple Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials and School Age credentials.  I have been trained in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), this is a type of intervention that is useful with children that present with Autism or other sensory disorders. It is also very useful with helping young children that may have trouble with early social skills, communication, reading and other academic subjects. As an educator and raising children, I completely understand the importance of finding a center that is caring and nurturing. It is very important to find a center that fits your family and has a loving environment and makes you feel welcome. To be a good teacher and child care provider you need to be able to make a connection.

It is very important to us to make sure that you know that we care and appreciate the opportunity to care and educate your children. We want to know every child, every family and all the little milestones in between. To not just get to know one or two of our children and their parents but to connect to dozens. To be able to convey sometimes a week of learning into a five-minute conversation.  It takes a teacher who knows how to set boundaries and enforce them consistently to succeed in a classroom. To enable children that can take direction as they are learning to explore.  In early childhood education what your child learns on the stage sets them up or knocks them down in their future learning. Our goal and highest achievements are to take your children into our care and give them back to you upon graduation not only with the skills necessary to succeed in school but with independence and confidence. We want our children to be challenged to complete a task that they can eventually do all on their own. To provide a rich environment where your child will feel safe to explore, initiate learning and feel free to express themselves.

Our wonderful staff and I are very excited about being part of your child’s educational future. We look forward to working with all the parents and families on establishing positive relationships. Respect, knowledge and trust are crucial parts of this relationship. Making sure families, caregivers and teachers are all on the same page will avoid any communication issues and everyone benefits – especially the children. We want to enable our children to head off to school with positive skills that will allow them an easier time transitioning into future classrooms. In education, the world is ever changing, and we learn and evolve with it to provide the best level of education possible.  There is always something new to learn and explore, for us teachers as well. If you have any questions or concerns the best way to get in touch with me is through email at: Jessica@NoahsArkToledo.com or any teacher if you add the teacher to the subject line and send it. We will make sure it gets to the teacher.  You can also call us and leave a voicemail. We will get back to you - 4194719914.

Sincerely,
